First things first. As you can see in the footer of every page I have no relationship with the NBA or the volunteer program. I'm just a Spanish NBA fan with an All-Star website.

Over the past few years this is by far the question I've been asked most often through this website. I decided to start a 'Volunteer mailing list' and send a one-time email when the sign-up started.

Lots of people are interested in joining the NBA All-Star events, I answered 1000+ emails in the last 10 months, including people with several years of experience as NBA All-Star volunteers.

Volunteer sign-up should have started already but I couldn't find any information online in the useless official NBA pages.

A month ago, the NBA Event Director asked me why I was recruiting volunteers for the All-Star. I answered that this site was only a way to connect fans with NBA All-Star volunteer opportunities, but after that I have not received any response for additional information of the volunteer program.

It seems is so hard to spend a few seconds writing a tweet, a Facebook post, answering an email, etc. for 1000+ NBA fans willing to spend their time helping other people.

If anybody has some info about volunteer opportunities for the 2015 New York NBA House or has been a volunteer in 2015, please send me a message.
