Being a number 1 pick in the NBA Draft is not a guarantee to make the NBA All-Star. Since 1950, the first NBA season, only 44 number one draft players have been selected for the All-Star Game. You can see here the 24 players not selected, including some active players: Number 1 Draft Players without NBA All-Star
Apart from the really old players who couldn't be drafted, there are only 3 undrafted players who made the NBA All-Star Game: John Starks (1994), Ben Wallace (2003 to 2006) and Brad Miller (2003-2004). 14 Territorial draft picks between 1947-1956 are not included in the list.

Players in blue are still playing in the NBA. List updated until 2018 edition.
