Slam Dunk Contest: Spud Webb

Watch all the Dunks

The big surprise happened. In his native city, the little Spud Webb (5-6 feet, 1.70 metres) won with a huge performance.
He made a perfect final with two 50, defeating Dominique Wilkins.
In this edition, the final was lowered from 3 to 2 dunks for each player. The big absence was Michael Jordan, who was injured, and Gerald Wilkins replaced Orlando Woolridge (injured too).
